BODY, MIND & EQUINE
In today’s fast-paced world, young people face unprecedented challenges, from academic stress to digital overwhelm and social disconnect. The global pandemic has only amplified these issues, leaving many youth feeling isolated and anxious. “Harmony with Horses” offers a unique solution!
Picture spending the day outside in the Squamish Valley nestled in the shadow of the coastal mountain. With serene forest walks that calm the soul and art sessions with horses that ignite creativity, participants will experience a unique program. Additional mindfulness practices including yoga, meditation, and journaling with horses grazing nearby, nurture self-awareness and inner peace.
Our equine friends will join us throughout, providing unique interactions (without riding!) that cultivate compassion, empathy, and leadership skills. These experiences aren’t just activities—they’re pathways to personal growth and mental wellness.
This program isn’t just an escape from reality; it’s an opportunity for youth, aged 10-14, to pause, reconnect with themselves and nature while cultivating resilience for life’s challenges.
Research continues to demonstrate the profound benefits of reconnecting with nature and horses. From reducing stress and boosting mood to enhancing overall well-being, time spent in nature and with horses has a powerful impact on mental and emotional health. Harmony with Horses leverages this knowledge through equine guided activities designed to help youth discover and harness your inner strengths.
Join us at the Second Chance Cheekye Ranch for a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Whether you seek to build confidence, improve mental wellness, or simply reconnect with nature, “Into the Woods” offers a holistic approach to well-being that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and inspired.
Take the first step towards a brighter, more resilient you. Embrace the power of nature and horses and join us to find Harmony with Horses.
