Do you want to be happy or happier?
You can be.
And you don’t have to do a thing.
On this first day of spring and the International Day of Happiness I invite you to take a deep breath in and when you exhale let go of all the things that are making you unhappy.
The bill worries, the loneliness, any health concerns, kid-stress, fear or self doubt.
Let it all go.
Then bring your attention into the present moment. It is here where you will find the peace & happiness you desire.
In this present moment, I am enjoying the silence while my daughter sleeps and I write, along with a cup of my favourite tea, the sound of the rain outside my window and my little dog nestled up beside me.
Nothing in my world has changed; the worries and challenges are still there.
But when we focus on all the things that are right in our life, even just for a moment, our heart fills with happiness and swells with gratitude.
So go ahead breathe in all that you find in the present moment- the love, the peace, the joy. It’s all there!
There may be areas in your life right now that are making you unhappy. And you may want to change those.
But if you stop focus on the present moment you will find all the happiness you have been searching for right in front of you.
